Refund policy


We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused*, with tags, and in or with its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase for an original payment method refund.

Returns of used items within 30 days if they are in “new working” condition and show no signs of abuse or improper handling and use may be given store credit or a gift card for a partial refund of the original purchase price.

If your return is accepted, you can bring in the product or if needed we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.The return shipping cost will be the responsibility of the consumer unless there was shipping damage or an error made by us. Not all items can be shipped and avoid shipping costs and delays by bringing the item to us directly. Items shipped back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted however in person returns do not require prior contact with us.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale, clearance items or gift cards.


Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 


Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, we typically complete this inspection within 3 business days of receiving the item and let you know if the refund was approved or not. For issues or defects that arise after the 30-day return period, please refer to the Battery Limited Warranty section below for specific coverage details. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

*For battery returns deemed 'used,' the new working condition means the battery must meet all original manufacturing performance specifications and have no cosmetic damage.


Battery Limited Warranty

Warranty is effective from the date of original purchase only. You will NOT receive a warranty replacement until we have fully charged and then check the condition of your battery. This operation may take up to 2 business days. Customers may request a battery on loan, with deposit, if available. 


Battery Warranty Periods: 

Effective for purchases on or after June 1st, 2025:

•Angry Automotive - 24 months free replacement, up to 4 years tiered performance warranty (prorated).

•Angry Commercial / Industrial – 12 months free replacement.

•Power Sport (i.e. Adventure Power) [Conventional and Maintenance Free] - 90 Days Free.

•Sealed Lead Acid - 12 months.

•Battery Pack Rebuilds - 12 months.

•Watch Battery Installation - 3 months.

•Small Household Rechargeable Batteries - 3 months.

General Limited Warranty - Items other than batteries are guaranteed to be free of defects and in good working condition for at least 90 days from original purchase date. Warranty covers factory defects and workmanship under normal use. Damage due to impact, infiltration by foreign material/liquid, short circuit, neglect, or abuse voids warranty.



We will replace any battery we sell, should it fail due to defects in materials or workmanship, under normal installation, use and service, while under warranty. 


This warranty does not cover the exceptions listed below under, 'WHAT IS NOT COVERED'.


Automotive batteries are warranted only when installed in cars or light trucks. Installation of an automotive battery in any other type of vehicle or equipment voids your warranty. All other battery types must be used for the purposes and applications for which they are intended, advertised or marketed by us. 


THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SUCH AS PHYSICAL INJURIES, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOSS OF TIME, LOSS OF USE OF THE VEHICLE, INCONVENIENCE, RENTAL VEHICLE, TOWING CHARGES, OR ACCOMODATIONS RESULTING FROM THE FAILURE OF THE BATTERY.


 



FREE REPLACEMENT PERIODS


Your free replacement period begins the day you purchase the battery, and expires at the end of the 'Free Replacement Period'. When a battery is replaced during the 'Free Replacement Period', the warranty does not renew, it continues on from the original date of purchase.


What is NOT Covered by Warranty


DISCHARGED BATTERIES


A battery that is within the warranty period and found to be only in a state of discharge will be recharged at no cost to you. This operation may take up to 2 business days. Customers may request a battery on loan, with deposit, if available. 



Failure due to:


Misuse, abuse, modification, accident or collision, or improper installation. For the avoidance of doubt, use of a battery for a purpose for which is not intended, advertised or marketed by us constitutes misuse and is not covered under any warranty.

  • Parts under manufacturer's recall for a related problem.

  • Parts installed on vehicles used off-road or for racing purposes.

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Infiltration by foreign material

  • short circuit

  • neglect (including overcharged, frozen, or dried-out cells).
